Infallible

Fri, 10/04/2013 - 23:53 -- a.lee1

The deception of our words

Wound those that cling to them

We are liars, yes,

But we cannot take full credit

Our first parents began the curse

Of mortality

Our own God could no longer stand us

Now we live in a darker world than

What was once created

We topple our own cities

And rage at the sky

What will come of us?

Infallible, God waits

For us to come back

Into his will

And out of darkness

Yet we fall

We curse his very works

We ignore the thundering skies

Humans are not infallible

We are liars,

Masters at revenge

Cold judges of our own kin

We are fallible, dastardly, and

Loved by the one who watches

All we do
