Inexcusable

She dated a bad boy,

he didn’t want to get sober.

They fell apart.

He spread rumors

like wildfire through the school.

Nasty names were all she heard.

Teachers should be against bullying,

but that wasn’t the case.

She wished her would get out of her face.

So I hear you are on to the next one huh?

They weren’t even dating.

Can’t she have friends?

His words stung her like a bee.

Her ex didn’t treat her right,

but she wasn’t trying to fight.

The teacher cemented the rumors,

with just one icy question.
