Independence or ...

Independence or

Ephesians 2:1-3

And although you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you formerly lived according to this world’s present path, according to the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the ruler of the spirit that is now energizing the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom all of us also formerly lived out our lives in the cravings of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath even as the rest …

“Independence” what a word ... it fills us up with pride.

It sets us free it’s what we teach ... while all creation cries.

We don’t need God or anyone ... we are self-made you know.

Look at our heritage ... we won’t reap what we sow.

If Indians are in the way ... we’ll kill them off real quick

and as for human animals ... they are really very sick.

We will kill the buffalo and all life for our needs.

Death walks in front of us ... while we’re wishing all God’s speed.

God wants us to prosper and surrounds us with our wants

that is the lie that we believe ... through a state of mind in trance.

Flesh is flesh that’s all we are ... but we think ourselves spiritual

and civilized up to no good ... makes us Pharisaical.
