Impulse

The synapse shudders  An electrical charge screaming past  Eyes widening and breath quickening  The surge of adrenaline overpowering Happiness waits but at the edge  A leap of faith with wings of uncertainty  The scream indistinguishable from the wind  Her visage rooted in cerebral fashion  Do dreams of love bring lift to wings so tattered? Chemical imbalance calls forth a manic madness She the neuroinhibitor  Calming the seas of the mind One does desire such peace
