Impressions

Ecclesiastes 11:10

10 Banish emotional stress from your mind.
and put away pain from your body;
for youth and the prime of life are fleeting.

 Impressions

Impressions go … impressions come.

Interpretations based on emotions.

Can they be trusted … and overcome

or be guided by consolation?

Is it possible to trust what appears

to you as reality?

What if your thoughts are based on fears,

which rob your basic qualities?

As from moments to moment we're changing

and even cells in our body are renewed.

Is then mind, body and soul within ranges

to be by our humanity endured?

Some say life is an illusion

and some don't pay it no mind,

but I came to the conclusion

to be sure … do all things right.

Am I so alike a flounder?

One side dark and the other side white.

The more I see … the more I ponder

why good and bad appear alike.

Is one without the other

lost in a "like-ness" swamp?

But than … why even bother

to join an other camp?
