The importance of self-happiness

Cinderella was a shy girl
Battered down under her step-mothers thumb
To afraid to speak up
Feeling trapped and hopeless

She went through her daily routine
Like a zombie, with no life whatsoever
But she had one thing going for her
She could sew anything

From skirt to wedding dress
She had what some may call
Magic hands
With impeccable detailing
As her signature

So she started a small business
She sold 5 dresses the first day
And moved out of her step-mothers house
She slowly started coming out of her shell
She became more confident
Since she wasn't surrounded by all the negativity

Realizing that she had to stand up for herself
to succeed in her business
So she spoke up
with her chin and her head held high
Not letting anyone
Drown out her voice

Concluding that the
Are those that
Their happiness for anyone
No matter the situation
