I'm Warm

Don’t tell me it’s freezing
Yes, my mouth’s spouting mist
But the air is quite pleasing
and charmingly crisp

In a T-shirt I waltz
my own arms quite bare
immune to frigid assaults
frosting you, standing there

Sure, there’s a hat on my head
only to repel rain
I don’t care what you’ve said
I am indeed sane

Ridiculed! And questioned!
My intentions are fine
Because of cold you are tested
But I’m warm most the time

Mayhaps it’s chilly
but the weather’s quite nice
No, not cold, not silly
Just nippy, to be precise

Reddening my flesh
is the wind in my face
the cold does refresh
Shivers? Not a trace!
