I'm Thankful

Thu, 12/20/2018 - 11:01 -- else17

I'm thankful for the way my body functions.

I'm thankful for the loving family I have who supports me.

I'm thankful for the country I was born in and how they protect my rights and build my future.

I'm thankful for my loving teachers who teach me the things I need for college and my future.

I'm thankful that I can express myself instead of being trapped losing all my color.

I'm thankful that I have a voice that I can speak what is on my mind.

I'm thankful for my ten commandments that help me be a good person.

I'm thankful for having emotions instead of being an empty shell.

I'm happy for my half sisters and my step siblings who look up to me for guidness.

I'm thankful for my boyfriend who has opened up my eyes.

I'm thankful for poetry because I now have a way to open up to the world.

I'm thankful for my pencils and pens so I can write away when I am feeling down.

I'm thankful for my friends who support me for my decisions and choices.

I'm thankful for my principals who are keeping my school safe.

I'm thankful for the cops who try their best to protect everyone from evil.

I'm thankful for authors who provide me with ideas.

Lastly I'm thankful for Shay my best friend for life even if we are split apart.
