Ignored

Imagine for a second throwing a rock. The ripples in the water are as quick as a fox.Now imagine another,But this time its different. The rock may hit the water,But its as if it didn’t matter. No ripples are to be seen,Your attempt was in vein.Such is my sad story,Of full attempt to land,Yet no effects are seen. This world is very lonely,I’ve found this over time.No matter who I tell,A friend I never find.As I try to contributeTo surface level talks,All I say is ignored. They tell me to take a walk.I am never heard,Only imitated.I would better be a birdSo I could not be faded.Even my sworn soldier,With nothing on his lipsSits and stares,And has no cares. All I ask is to be heard.Even if just a cat purr.
