If a Tree Falls

To be heard is to be. The

Eyes skim lazily Across glazy

Landscapes. Sight is passive.

The Ears command the eyes

With sharp sensations. Audio

Demands much more focus.

“Ladies and

Gentlemen,

May I have

Your attention,

Please?”

Lend me

Your ears,

Or the tree

Will be silent,

And the forest will die.
