If not for awesome, life would be dull
This big old world of ours would be at a lull
If not for awesome, food would taste bland
There would be no use in tilling the land
If not for awesome, would the sky still be blue?
Would it still possess that radiant hue?
If not for awesome, there would be no use for joy
No happiness for girl nor boy
If not for awesome, there would be no use at all
No point in being big, no point in being small
If not for awesome, would the sea billows still roll?
Would the wait of time still take its toll?
If not for awesome, would there be true love?
Would the heavenly hosts still send their blessings down from above?
If not for awesome, I believe the sky would be gray
So let's appreciate awesome, and save our worries for another day
