If I were

If I were a bird how high I’d fly,
Along the horizon of the infinite blue sky,
If I’d be a cat,
Would spend the late nights lingering for prey,
Spend the day laying carelessly for a nap,
If I’d be a pig which I’d never want to be,
My ankles would be dirty,
And my snout might be green!
If I were a bee,
Flying high and free I’d want to rest,
Upon the pedal of a rose,
But I am only a human,
In my world I am free,
Allowing me whatever I wish to be!
