If I Was A Chess Piece

Location

If I was a chess piece.

I'd be the Queen.

I'd be powerful and strong.

Every move I'd make would be percise and never wrong.

Everybody would be my pawn.

The game would be the survivial of the strong.

The Rook would die, the Knight would fall.

But the Queen would stand tall.

The pieces would disappear from the board.

And the King would eventually fall forward.

After every game, it is his fate.

That I would have him in check-mate.

Certainly, all is fair in love and war.

But all lose when the game is over.

If I was a chess piece.

I'd be the Queen.

However, I am the King.

Weak as can be.

The Queen always over-powers me, more and more.

And when I'm finally in check-mate, I fall to the floor.
