If I Could Turn Winter Into Spring

If I could turn Winter into Spring,

It will be a miracle.

The ravens would sing--

Like a boy with a fiddle.

The flowers will not wither,

The stars will not be out of sight--

It will be beautiful

If they come out tonight.

The frozen water on the roads,

The clouded glass.

Cold can be felt by its force--

Ice on the Earth's grass.

The smoke from the chimney,

The missing warmth--

Breath can be seen coming

From every mouth.

The snow that the cloud's weep--

The sob bubbling from someone's lips--

Misery will disappear

If you are here.

I will be waiting

If I could turn Winter into Spring.
