Icarus and Apollo

Thu, 01/03/2019 - 22:28 -- mkipp0

His kisses stain

my skin in lilacs of pain

he cups my cheek

he calls me ecstasy

His smiles tear me

apart, how much more can he

take of my insufferable whining

I beg for more

Love they call it

When he grips my arm too tight bit

Down on my lip

Crimson staining my teeth

Fate they chant

when he won’t stop, “I can’t”

Oh God, “He won’t save you”

I’m breathless

 I fall
