I Will Always Be There

Son, grown up you are now
more responsibilities on shoulders
more accountability in actions, and
more answerability in demeanour
actions speak louder than words
adopt sacraments into your life
that you inherited from me
I always want you to remember,
to never give up, no matter if
clouds of desolation roam around you
I want you keep moving ahead,
even if it pains a lot when in distress
I want you to perceive that
life can be unjust and shabby, and
I want you to remember that
I am always moving with you
like your shadow
your shadow may fade away
after the sun sets, but
you will always find me near you
even in the darkness
