I am a writer

Not a very good one

I didn't learn about citing my sources properly in high school

Or about in-text citations

But I am a writer

However, sometimes I need a little push

Something to inspire me

To keep my fingers moving across the keyboard

Something to ignite a fire within me

That will stir up an emotion, a thought, a memory

I am a writer

Or so I tell myself so that I may write

I'm hoping that if I tell myself that I am a writer enough I will eventually become one
