i sit here on my hershey brown leather couch

I sit here on my Hershey brown leather couch

Thinking of something to say…but I got nothing.

I’m thinking of a way to change the world

I’m thinking of those children on the street

Only one set of clothes and lay with their half dead drugged up parents

And I sit here on a leather couch with Nikes on

And a closet full of clothes and parents who are healthy

You already know that I gave thanks on thanksgiving.

What’s the point of living in a country that doesn’t care about its own?

So focused on keeping the rich richer

Ignoring the thousands of Americans perishing under their noses

We have police officers killing innocent people on a regular

I’m not going to specify the race because they’re people nonetheless

We have a black president…. That was a mistake

Every time you google president and criticism, Obama pops up.

That’s saying something about our country

... Just sit on those thoughts for a moment.

I have nothing else to say
