I see you

You're too angry,

these statements he said.

When he should have taken my hand

and asked me where it hurt.

Am I invisible to you?

You don't see me here?

My hips is wide

and my nose is too

but you move right through me

like my black is a shadow.

Am I invisible to you?

Don't you see me?

You walk into the white room

You think you stand out

you stand in fear

everyone is watching you,

but,

you are invisible.

You move around the edges,

avoiding the center,

fearing,

that they will notice something out of place.

You are out of place.

But they don't see you.

You are invisible.

But I see you.
