I Remember A Time...(Unfinished/Just some thoughts)

I remember a time where life was different

Where I could be me

Or who ever I wanted to be

Where freedom to be me didn't require a months rent

I remember a time where smiling wasn't asked

When laughing was consistant

and snorting like a pig was not meant

When freedom to be me didn't require me to be masked

I remember a time that I felt alive

Where I could bask all day in the rays of the sun

and where I wasn't wanting to run

Where freedom to be me didn't require me to survive

I remember a time that was filled with happiness

When family dinners where at the table

and sometimes sneaking the dog food if able

Where freedom to be me didn't require loneliness

I remember a time where there was so many opportunities

Where I could do anything and everything in a day

and still have time to play

Where freedom to be me didn't require fees

I remember a time that seems as real as pluto

Where freedom to be me didn't feel life a sorrow
