I remember taking his hand..
I remember taking his hand.. Seeing him breathe his last breath.. And for a minute time stopped and the sky began to cry..
The great elder of all time had finally died and in his memory he wished for nothing but the better of humanity..
As I stood and watched this tragedy unfold in front of my very eyes, I knew I had a calling and as crazy as it may seem I heard my calling. To help all of the Native Americans across North America..
The life he once led was not over and I knew he could live vicariously through me. My want to be a humaitarian grows almost every day.
The things I could do with one job would be numerous.. I could fight for the rights many Natives deserve, I could help empower a younger generation and improve life as they know.
I choose to br a leader just like the man I saw die.. I choose to improve the lifes of many because as the earth many upon a time will be lost.. The youth of tomorrow will die because they simply feel as if there is nothing to wait for...
It shoul not have to be like this, there should be no red drawn sky or self disgust.. It should be as the great elder once said, "A beautfiul place to live and learn."
I say to you my friends the future is ever so looming if we shall hope to live again let it be if we shall hold our breath then the down fall is on our humanity.
