Its been three years, 

its been 36 months since you left me, 

that day i can still see, 

everytime hoildays roll around, 

i hear your voice in the distance,

those squeaks of that woven recliner, 

i can still feel as you held me, 

giving me kind words, 

you were a good person, 

maybe a little temper, 

but you was good to me, 

you helped me through a lot, 

I might of had 16 years, 

to get to know you as a person, 

but it was the greatest years of my life, 

And i'll always cherish them
