I Have Done it All but I am Not Yet Done.

I have wiped, mopped, taught and cooked for a living,

and I will continue working.  Continue giving.

My desire is to care for those in a weaker state,

But to do so I must hit the books.  Go to class and never be late.

I am a working gal with what feels like too much to do,

But I am not afraid to work hard.  Always pulling through.

I will clock my 40 hours to the best of my abilities.

Then come home and study anatomy.

Nursing runs in my family and I want to add my branch to that tree.

I have a plan.  I do.

Work hard.  Study hard.  But it is no easy thing to do.

But I will work to pay the bills.  Pay for school and all its expenses.

The scholarship award would assist in building bridges

Not just surviving by building fences.

So please, help make a dream come true.

So I can lace up my white nursing shoes.
