I Hate This Place

Location

I hate this place.

The hug is short, the pain in my eyes is reflected in his.

He doesn’t know who is betraying him, his mom or God.

He desperately wants it to be me.

I desperately want it to be me too because it would soothe his angst.

He doesn’t understand why God won’t save him.

He’s a faithful warrior, he’s a white knuckled bible soldier.

Save him dammit.

Save me if you are real.

Tell him I’m only trying to save him.

He loves you and believes in you.

You are either a coward or a traitor.

We both are.

God I hate this place.
