I don't know what to write about.

When I was about fourteen years old I was a freshman,
the lowest kids on campus the underclassmen.
Everything was new,
new school, new classes, new teachers, new everything.
But my brother was there helpful to all the scary seniors that went “BOO!”
he kind of took me under his wing.
We happened to have one class together,
it was a zero period at six thirty in the morning,
occasionally slow and boring.
Then we had to apply to a scholarship.
I found this great scholarship where you had to write a poem.
I wanted to write an inspiring poem
so I tried to write about drugs, smoking, and bullying,
but I just couldn't think of anything.
So I found this nifty “inspiration engine”
it had ideas from other poets to help people like me,
who had just no idea what to write about.
I saw writers block in the engine,
so I thought why not create a poem on not being able to think of a topic,
then I wrote a pretty good poem.
I submitted then waited to see if I won.
