nor a crazy jihadist against my own country

I am a patriot for this beautiful land that I call home

I am a believer of this thing we call democracy

I am strong, confident, and proud but also weak, afraid, and sad

I am myself

I am not one thing but many

I am a Moroccan Muslim American

I am a student that thrives to be something more and nothing less

I am a woman and a person

Do not separate the two

Why am I judged based on CNN or FOX but not judged after they have met me

How do I fit into your miniscule categories when I am everything

I can not write who I am completely using words, niether can I write on you using

the few that resembly you

I am myself and no one else
