I Am Stressed

I am stressed out to the max,

But I still have the will to go on,

I refuse to get the axe.

I want to be part of the race,

And I hope that nothing ever goes wrong.

I’m in it for the chase,

I’m in it for the win.

I am powerful in my own way.

I am able to do what I want to do,

If my mind doesn’t stray.

I would like to think I’m meant for great things.

Though I do bite off more than I can chew,

I’m ready for what life brings.

I’m ready for it all.

I am stubborn when I can be.

It’s not my best trait,

It’s not my cup of tea.

I’m not one to listen when I’m frustrated,

I tend not to think always straight.

Eventually the persistence slowly and surely becomes faded,

And I’m able to understand most things again.

I am loyal to my family and friends,

In every way I can be.

I can be willing to jump to anyone’s defense,

And I make sure that they can always give me their trust.

I hope that everyone can see,

That I will be on their side to help them adjust,

To all the changes that happen in life.

I am messy in some aspects.

I sometimes have piles of paper scattered over my desk.

It’s one of my worst habits,

And I attempt to fix that problem as much as I can.

I often put myself to the test,

To be very organized and to keep sticking to the plan,

Of being clean and neat.

I am an intelligent student.

I try to exceed academically to the best of my ability,

And I work hard to get straight A’s in any event.

People think I try too hard to be where I am,

But it’s my way of containing the feeling of nobility.

At times I do tend to cram,

For those dreaded tests that come from time to time.

I am considered extremely weird to others

I hold quirky characteristics in which makes me unique,

And give me my personality and not another’s.

I love being exactly who I am,

I create my own fun in my life instead of keeping it bleak.

I’m not afraid to go out in public and do my own jam,

For that is just my own self coming out of its shell.

I am a mixture of the good and bad all around.

I am what I see, touch, smell, taste, and hear everywhere.

I am the one who refuses to fall or back down.

I am the individual who dares to push the boundaries.

I am the one who cares about if the justice being done in this world is fair.

I am the one who doesn’t always speak up loudly.

I am the one and only me.

I am Giselle.
