I Am Sinful

I am the want you feel when you see somebody look at you and stare.

That feeling when you think a stranger and you would make a perfect pair.

I am the feeling that never stops, that only grows with time.

I am the one that makes you go back to the nefarious crime.

Lust.

I am the one that makes you think you can take another bite.

I manipulate an endless void to your appetite.

The feeling when you don't know if your hungry or not.

I am the one that makes you return to the ever so large pot.

Gluttony.

I am that one that turns up your nose.

Makes you think you're the one that God would have chose.

I make you feel a great swell of happiness in your chest.

But I always end up making you not look your best.

Pride.

I swirl your head with price tags, the only thing you can see.

I make you want to have that extra degree.

Your heads turns to any notion to dollar signs.

And there are many of you heading to my ever growing lines.

Greed.

I make you feel that time should be forever slow.

That any little thing is such a difficult and meaningless show.

That doing anything is no small task.

I am the one that makes you want to always where a mask.

Sloth.

I am the one that yells at the smallest infliction.

I am the one that likes to make dramatic conflictions.

I slam doors just to show how I horrible I feel.

Sometimes I leave the room with an irate, vicious feel.

Wrath.

I am the one that makes you never happy.

Never fulfilled with all you have which is sappy.

I fill your head with ideas that others have it better than you.

But all I am doing is saying everything that isn't true.

Envy.

We are the ones that you have that give you all your guilt.

And with time it topples, all that we built.

But we play our games so later you have to pay.

We have control, so you do what we say.

The Seven Deadly Sins.
