I Am Not So Serious but Still Meaningful: Part 2

I am the gum stuck to your shoe, ugly, gross, unwanted by anyone

The responsibility that no one wanted

But remember, as you curse me and my situation.

I was thrown away and now, as you pick me up again, through no fault of your own, of course

You are throwing me away too. Not for what I was or could become, but for who I am and was forced to become

This poem is about:
Me
Our world
