I Am My Hair

I had cut my hair shorter to avoid my problems,

Then grew it back out once I thought I solved them.

Impulsive alterations were a reocurring thing,

Because of the happiness I thought they would bring.

But here I am again after 365 days,

A new person, I have changed in extraordinary ways.

I cut my hair again, but now for different reasons,

I have matured and learned and grown with the changing of the seasons.
