I am Me

I'm just another face

In a sea of many

And maybe I'm not

Society's picture-perfect doll

With long hair, big breasts,

And a body to die for

Yet, this face is mine

This voice, this mind,

This heart and soul

All of it is mine

It is not theirs,

Nor is it yours

I am me and no one else

And while I may sometimes feel

As if "I" am not enough

The simple little sight

Of seeing the copies walk with disturbing synchronicity

Reminds me of something very important:

I am not perfect

I never will be

But that is fine

That doesn't bother me

For who I am

Is someone only I can be

I give, I take, I will, I am, and I exist

And there is no other that can replace

The person that is me

The existence that is me

I am worthwhile

I am beautiful

I am powerful

I am flawless

Flaws and all
