i am a man

No matter how hard I try,

It doesn’t make a difference.

I wear masc clothing

But when I run out,

I’m left with femme stuff.

People do double-takes

When they look at me,

Trying to figure out

What the hell I am.

I can tell you this:

I’m not a ma’am.

I am a man.
