I Am A Hurricane

I am a hurricane, so much power that can't be contained
Strong winds, destructive waves, destroying buildings a path is paved
So much power forced in a vortex, every little molecule is so complex
Is this a force that can be controlled?
Trapped in the middle, the eye it with holds
Spinning spinning
Something so beautiful causes so much pain
Being able to harness this power requires so much strain
Out at sea so beautiful and free, land is the catalyst
Triggering gusting winds, enormous waves, the clouds role in on such a beautiful day
On the land the waves are built up emotions, trying to break through, and return to the ocean
I Am A Hurricane
Trying to break free
Battling the emotions raging within me
