I am a Forgiven Castaway

This is where I draw the line.

This is my surrender.

I’m all in.

There is no plan B.

I’m a forgiven castaway

Unbroken by this world,

I stand on my own

Secrets and regrets.

I won’t be invisible,

Not without a fight.

I’ll do whatever it takes

Because there is no giving up.

No place to hide

But join the frontline

In our state of emergency.

This is our call to action,

Our battle cry,

The reason

I breathe today.

I have my eye on it,

The eyes of a rescue,

It is not far away

Just words

Waiting to be my escape

From my shattered life

I’ve wanted to cover up.

I have nothing to give

But take my life,

Revive me,

Make me a believer,

Lead me,

And I will follow.

My identity

Is found in you

Alone

Jesus my redeemer.
