I Am Baseball
I Am Baseball
I am the warm and humid summer days
I am the cold and rainy fall days
I am the short perfect grass
I am the long grass that hasn’t been touched in weeks
I am the spotless infield dirt
I am the infield after dozens of feet stomped all over it
I am the straight chalk lines
I am the messy chalk lines after a game
I am the excitement of players after a hard fought win
I am also the dull dugout after a devastating loss
I am the pitcher
I am the hitter
I am the game
