I was at top of the world seeing construction going full swing
Thinking of a home that will be my own
The dream didn't last for a long as a thug called Sharma was in play
Siphoning funds from my project to invest in foreign banks
To buy palatial houses and luxury SUVs
The construction came to a halt as funds were dried
If that wasn't enough Sharma came out Mission completion
To cheat them further in the name of a home
Our hopes got shattered and our situation got battered
Looking for help we went from authority to authority
From UP Govt to Central Govt from Yogi to Modi
From UP Police to EOW
They all gave us false promises never meant to be fulfilled
We sat on a dharna for 56 days at Amrapali office
With mosquitoes and street dogs for a company
Leaders came and then gone doing nothing in the end
Then like a manna from the heaven in the 2017
We filed a petition in the Supreme court as a last hope
The court took longer than what we thought
But came with a verdict that is only our hope
Now I am crossing my hands waiting for things to hapoen
