[I am Amazingly (Me)].
I don’t sit behind the masks of others.
Instead I reveal myself, naked, proud,
As I am: a young girl of faults and sins.
I can be lazy; I can also be loud.
Yet it’s all just a part of being who I admire; me.
I.
What sends my stoic heartbeat racing with glee?
What lifts me up and makes me want to shout?
What is it that makes me laugh in buoyancy?
What is that one thing that singles me out?
The answer to all of that is, irrevocably: me.
Am.
I’m my best muse, my own inspiration.
It’s deep within my own heart I look when
I seek guidance; I am my devotion.
On this I will not break, nor will I bend,
Because the thing that I love, most entirely, is being me.
Amazingly.
I seek not to sound conceited, nor vain.
It’s not a selfish love I hold for myself.
In reality, I am meek and plain.
But I know that a strong love for oneself
Results in them being the best they can be; I am me.
Me.
