Hurry

Ecclesiastes 3:1 New English Translation (NET Bible)

A Time for All Events in Life

For everything there is an appointed time,
and an appropriate time for every activity on earth:

Hurry

In this world, we’re always moving

at a fast pace defined in a rush.

Drive-through windows and “Quick Lube”

are setting the pace for basic “trust.”

Little time in the temporal

Time gets lost in thought’s syndrome.

In a hurry to get nowhere,

like the 40 years of desert roam.

Counting cost as base perception.

Evaluating or it was worth the while.

Measured in time and space’s conception

and then fake it without guile?
