Humble Thank You's

Thu, 06/27/2013 - 01:11 -- Dani_D

Dear God,

Thank you for the day.

This one was good.

I found some half eaten sandwiches.

Some kids left them at the park.

Today I didn't go hungry,

Thank you.

Dear God,

Thank you for today.

This one was good.

Some people people were moving.

I now have some new blankets.

A bit warn, but winter will be less cold.

Thank you.

Dear God,

Thank you for today.

This one was good.

A couple of teens through there change at me.

I know they were being mean.

But now I have enough for a warm meal.

Thank you.

Dear God,

Thank you for today.

This one was good.

I attacked in an alley while looking for food.

Someone found me and took me to a hospital.

A warm place to sleep.

Thank you.

Dear God,

Thank you for today.

This one was good.
