Human Like You

Every moves we tried to make,

you’ll bring us down,

harder than the gravitational pulls,

faster than a speedy bullet.

Every words we tried to utter,

with fire you’ll shut us up,

burning our lips and our insides,

forever to remain muted.

You said “We’re parasites,”

you called us names,

online and offline,

with your friends.

Eighty percent of us,

will spend each night,

moaning and crying to be accepted,

not to be segregated.

Even though in our mind,

suicide displays itself vividly,

we always asked ourselves,

“Why must you, always caused us such harms?”

Every moves we tried to make,

every words we tried to utter,

are like those of yours,

for ain’t we all human like you?
