How I've Changed

In my mind I capture

A time when I was less mature.

At an age

Where I could barely talk on stage.

With time,

I learned to rhyme.

Went through a change,

Within mind and body did it range.

Younger years were rough,

I learned how to be tough.

I learned of violence on our Earth,

And of how I had changed since birth.

Change can be great,

But can also inspire hate.

Fear from the imaginary,

Turned into fears noted in news commentary.

Uncontrolled action,

Turned into thought of the reaction.

My ambunctious nonsense,

Lead to the evolution of clear conscience.

I evolved,

Just as constant as the Earth revolved.
