How Hard Can It Be To Write A Poem?

How hard can it be to write a poem?

Poems of ten syllables aren’t hard.

You just count with your God-given fingers

until all fingers on each hand are down,

making sure not to exceed over ten.

Now I have ten syllables on each line

and just wrote a poem using blank verse.

No, Blank Verse is Iambic Pentameter, which is ten syllables with each the meter of unstressed and stressed syllables repeating for 5 feet of ten syllables and it should end with a stressed syllable. This was simple ten syllables for each line, not unstressed and stressed syllables on eahc line.
