How To Get Back Up

Feeling down? Feeling sad or upset? Who was it this time? If it is someone who you do not hold in your heart, why bother feeling anything for them? Their words are meaningless. If your ears let them in, sign and let them out. Do not transfer their words to your heart. Do not. If someone close to you hurt you, that is a different case. It will take more time to heal but you will be cured. Look at the whole picture. If the whole picture is good, then just ignore the tiny pieces that try to ruin it. Ignoring does not work? Then paint over them. Paint them over with the colors that bring you joy. I know it’s hard. Disappointment and depression quickly consume you. Your shield is weak, but that does not mean you have to make your weapon strong. He who saves is far better than he who harms. That person that let you down, do not use the same animosity against them. The trick is to let time help you. In the beginning you will feel like your world is at its end and there is nothing or no one to help you get back up, but time is. After a while time will imprison pain. Tears will be forgotten. After you realized that you did not retaliate and got back up on your own, that’s it. What brought you down will be nothing but a speck of dust that the strong wind will blow away into the unknown, forever lost. And as you wait for time, let me tell you that at times I felt like everything was over. Gone. But...Here I am. Still part of the universe. I survived the storms and volcanic eruptions and so can you. There is a giant mountain that is blocking your sunlight, but never give up. Sunshine is just behind it. Human beings have the potential to go beyond their limit, to persevere against all odds...but many chose not to and take the easier yet unfulfilling lives. What would you rather do then? Live a long sad life, or a short happy life? Did your suffering ease up yet? Because mine does whenever I write my feelings down. So write the thoughts that are itching to escape down. If you have someone, talk to them. Just to have someone to listen to is more than enough, so let water wash over the sand of grief. Right now as you read this, the universe and its wonders move as if the hour and minute hands of the clock. Do not miss it. Do not lay down on the ground and let it go by without living it. Get back up. It will happen again and again. The moment when pain bangs on your door. However, each time you have to try to not let it in along with time. If you fall, then get back up. In the end, in the very end...You will be the victor. You will be at peace.
