Everything is awesome?

While others may claim such, I must disagree.

I'll tell you what's not:

Hatred, jealousy, anger, rejection, arrogance, envy, prejudice, and bigotry

...and the list goes on.

But that's not to say that certain other things aren't.

The fact that I can express myself here and now, without fear of persecution and challenge in itself is awesome.

Who am I to judge others in this world when I myself am not perfect?

Just like you, I am the product of history, time, and morals.

I am made up of protons, electrons, and neutrons- of elements traceable to the very start of our universe- I live, breathe, laugh, and cry.

We gaze at the same sky that the dinosaurs roamed under, at the same moon studied by Galileo, and on the same Earth as society's great.

How awesome is that?

In writing this, I cannot make everyone happy- that is to say,

Not everyone has the privileges I have been bestowed;

A bed on which to sleep at night, clean water to drink, free public education, friends, a roof above my head, a loving family, etc.

These blessings are innumerable, I must add:

…and to those without purpose in life, to those depressed, to those experiencing financial difficulty, or face-to-face with any sort of hardship,

It's okay.

I say this in all truth- I try my best never to lie.

Give it some time, never lose hope, and always be thankful.

For this reason, I pray for mercy. While I may not know you, or your troubles,

I pray that you enjoy good health, and that joy come your way.

The simple fact that we share all of these similarities-

Love of equality, life in this world, hardship, loss, and love (Most of us, anyway)-

IS AWESOME!
