Horace Ode 3.18 Adaptive - Pass

Location

Oh, town budget,

Who loves to cut our spending,

Please do not destroy our funds

And pass without offending.

And if we see a program go

From your ballot box,

We’ll move along like every year

Despite the fiscal loss.

And so the older folk shall graze

In their little centers,

In the early days of April

As active voting members.

You come disrupt the flow of school

With your day long voting,

Waiting for a “yes” to pass

Just sitting there and hoping.

The old and young wonder through the doors

And make their way for you,

Even some who work all day

Make time and go vote too.
