Hopeless Wonder

Over the dark Horizon lies a Bridge

many have stood on that ledge

heavy with sorrow as he brooded

he fled the Life before him

filled with strife he bled by his own knife

taking his own Life

that was the day he finally snapped

practice what you preach

Remember your wife before you leap

when you’re feeling so low

remember the Rainbow to come

his Eyes were gray and gloomy

storm clouds and guns loaded

weighed down

his raindrops made with blundering choices

head filled with many thundering voices

what a hopeless wonder you are my friend

filled also with Potential

the Sun now shines through your storm clouds

allowing your Vibrant soul to be revealed

now a Rainbow replaces the bridge on the horizon

all the lies are gone

you are feeling a bond to the Earth

she calls out to you

as you are soon to forsake her

she reminds you of who you once were

reminding you that this depression is not terminal

although you are feeling hopeless

you are a brilliant Wonder
