Homework

Homework is,

An unjust crime.

Classwork alone,

Would be just fine.

Behind my desk,

In my athletic prime.

I could do so much,

With all that time!

Homework is cruel,

Like an ex-girlfriend.

My mental health,

I cannot mend.

I sit and wait,

For it to end.

The stuff I just can’t

Comprehend!

So teacher please,

Listen to me.

My peers and friends,

Would all agree.

If you have a soul,

Then let us be.

Forget the homework,

Save a tree!
