Here For You

I'm here for you

Always, for anything

To share in the good times

In the bad, take away the pain

I know sometimes

You feel lost and alone

You feel like nobody cares

Can hardly call your home a home

You do what you have to

Which always ends in tears

But what if I told you

Losing you is my biggest fear

I'm always here for you

Not because I have to be

But because I want to be

There IS someone who cares, it's me

All I want is to make you laugh

See your eyes gleam as you smile

Help you find light in the dark

If only for a while

And when darkness returns

I want to be there to hold your hand

Pull you through

Be the other se of footprints in the sand

I'm here for you, always

As your protector, your friend

To watch over you

From now until the end
