Though her spirit has crossed
Her memories will never be lost
Through the rain, wind, and snow
Her tree is the one thing that will never go.
As we admire her tree
The memories are set free.
Memories of knowledge and fun
How her love was eternal like the sun.
Her tree still remains in place
In it we can still see her face.
She really did know it all
From when the snow would melt, to the first signs of fall.
Her tree still stands tall
And makes the world seem a little less small
From her endless stories to her little blue sweater,
Never did she seem under the weather.
Although she is gone
We can still hear the song
The song coming from the tree
From the birds flying free.
Her spirit still remains
As our love it claims
Together you and me
Can remember her, by her tree.
