her star

he's the star that shines,

the moon in her darkness

the anchor of a boat

lost at sea.

his fingers turn, like clockwork

mending all her broken pieces

-chipped-

one, two, three,

by time.

her heart is restless,

and cold like winter's breath

only to be melted by his touch

a touch full of light,

rays resembling the sun-

a star.

he is her star.

guiding her home.
